AAWL Membership Information
To become a member, click here. ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP. Active membership shall be that of lawyers residing in the State of ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP. Associate membership shall be that of (1) all law students currently enrolled in an accredited law school, and (2) all clerks and deputy clerks who become associate members of this association prior to the enactment of this Constitution. Associate membership shall entitle the member to all privileges of the Association except those of voting and holding office. AT-LARGE MEMBERSHIP. At-large membership shall be that of lawyers residing outside the State of RETIRED MEMBERSHIP. Retired membership shall consist of members who have reached the age of 65 prior to the beginning of the fiscal year. Retired membership shall entitle the member to the same privileges held by the member prior to age 65. DUES. The membership year begins June 1 and ends May 31. Annual dues of active members licensed to practice law more than three years on June 1 of the membership year shall be forty dollars ($40.00). Annual dues of active members licensed to practice law less than three years on June 1 of the membership year shall be twenty-five ($25.00). Annual dues of associate members and at-large members shall be fifteen dollars ($15.00). Associate members who are law students shall pay no dues. Annual dues of retired members shall be ten dollars ($10.00). New admittees to the bar are exempt from payment of dues for the balance of the Association's fiscal year in which they are admitted to the bar. For more information contact: info@arwomenlawyers.org
